The mission of Gladwin Heights United Church, an inclusive and dynamic community of the United Church of Canada, is to grow spiritually and proclaim Christian Faith through worship and service.

Family Worship Cafe: First Thursday of the Month at 6:00 p.m.

Proclamation
Knowing that we live in the presence of God, grounding our faith in the Bible, we take the risk to proclaim justice and respect for all, speaking authentically in today’s world, inviting all people to come and see the gospel lived.

Worship
We experience God’s presence through prayerful, relevant worship in our creative and dynamic gathered community. In Sunday morning worship, we celebrate with scripture, music, preaching, prayer and sacraments.

Faith and Spiritual Formation We develop our faith by listening, learning and living; celebrating honesty, diversity and inclusiveness; striving to live in the way Christ taught us. We acknowledge the process of questioning, probing and searching.

Ministry and Service
As followers of Jesus, we celebrate each other, accepting, supporting, respecting diversity, and seeking justice within the wider community. As good stewards, we support our church, care for the environment and honour people’s gifts.

Community of Believers
We provide joyful, family-like community that is welcoming to all, supporting meaningful fellowship and congregational viability.

Leadership
We value healthy, effective pastoral relationships. In order to promote energizing and visionary leadership, we help in the development of faith and skill of both lay and professional leaders.
