OUR MINISTER

Reverend Dr. Dorothy Jeffery

The Reverend Dr. Dorothy Jeffery came to Gladwin Heights United Church (GHUC) in July, 2002.

Understanding faith as a constant aspect of our lives is central to the message Dorothy brings to her ministry. She has a strong interest in Christian education and worship leadership and strives not only to serve the congregation of Gladwin Heights, but to reach out to people not currently connected to a faith community.

Dorothy is married to Wayne who is a forensic scientist consultant. They have one child, Barbara, who is a graduate of Simon Fraser University in Kinesiology.

COUNCIL

The Council of GHUC consists of an executive, a Presbytery representative and representatives from the following committees: Worship, Property and Maintenance, Christian Education, UCW, Outreach, Membership, Fellowship, Finance and Stewardship, Ministry and Personnel, Youth and Pastoral Care and three members at large.

CHOIR

A friendly, welcoming group of adult choral singers committed to the Music Ministry of GHUC. Our music director, June Dolman, brings a wealth of experience and musical gifts. Her background includes soprano soloist in church, community and musical theatre, pianist for swing band, dance schools, jazz band and choir.
