Come to the 10th World Religions Conference in Abbotsford, Titled “Reconciling the Existence of God and Human Suffering”  

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at holds the annual World Religions Conference with this year’s topic being: “Reconciling Existence of God & Human Suffering?” Prominent scholars from the Christian, Hindu, Muslim. Jewish Faith and Sikh faiths will present their viewpoints on the topic.

The conference will be moderated by the Councillor Kelly Chahal of City of Abbotsford with Keynote speaker Chair of the Board of Education with the Abbotsford School District no. 34. This will be followed by a feature multi-media presentation that aims to provide the tools and methods necessary to maintain peace in society.

Event: The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada hosts the 10th World Religions Conference in Abbotsford, British Columbia. With the rise of suffering around the world, such as in Syria, where unimaginable horrors are being heaped upon the Syrian people by the government, rebel groups and extremists. Also suffering in other countries around the world, including the suffering in our very own country of issues such as homelessness and the drug crisis. We are observing that suffering is growing and isn’t reducing, leading to unimaginable consequences that are not far from us.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada is holding an interfaith event, in which various religious scholars will present their faith’s viewpoint on how to reconcile human suffering and the existence of God.   

The conference will be moderated by Councillor Kelly Chahal. The keynote address will be delivered by Shirley Wilson, Chair of the Abbotsford School District.
