Our Fall Fair & Vintage Market were a Great Success!

Our Gladwin Heights United Church Annual Fall Fair and Vintage Market held on Saturday, September 23rd, was a great success!  It featured baked goods, jams and canned goods, vintage items, jewelry, used books, collectibles and much more. Many people enjoyed the barbecue lunch and a piece of pie for dessert. 

An added feature this year was a performance by the Abbotsford Christian African band, Shirika.  Shirika is Swahili for "fellowship".  This group has shared its unique musical stylings with local churches and groups and sings in many of the languages of East Africa.  Their performance was enjoyed by all!
